| Responsibilities: | The Assistant Engineer, Coating Engineering supports our coating engineering projects by adapting and applying engineering techniques; conducting tests and inspections; preparing reports and documentations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise manufacturing process, ensure quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information; researching, analyzing, adapting, and modifying engineering techniques; recommending solutions that improve production, costs, and labor required Transfer new coating process to production and act as a technical support for production Partner with sales team to gather feedback of sample submitted from customer and follow up accordingly Responsible for process monitoring and collecting control parameters as well as data measurement & report documentation Perform sample surface inspection by using microscope as needed Identify and diagnose issues in production line and provide recommendations and training as needed. Identify customers¡¯ needs and sales opportunities Process and status reporting to management Generate weekly report Organize respective weekly meetings with production team and coating engineering team on active project listing and continuous improvement actions Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned whenever required This list is not intended to be all-inclusive.
