PVD Coating Technician

| Responsibilities: | This job is responsible for the set-up, monitoring and basic maintenance of PVD coating machines. Position largely entails loading and unloading of machines, basic preventative maintenance, and inputting of parameters into a Windows-based PLC. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operating and maintaining PVD coating machines according to company specifications Minimising equipment downtime through preventative maintenance procedures Maintaining and updating equipment PM logs Carry out sand blasting work on coating machine spare parts Learn fixturing techniques and orientation requirements for proper PVD processing Providing training assistance to other employees Assisting with quality assurance and other technical matters This list is not intended to be all-inclusive.
