| Responsibilities: | Job Description Responsible for technical/production support, process/product development and optimisation of systems for assigned area and its applicability. This position is specifically associated with the area of Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coatings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: set up, Operate, and Perform preventive maintenance activities of machines that support production perform visual inspections of parts both pre and post coating (quality check) evaluate coating treatments and applications daily control and improvement of PVD and related processes identify complex problems involving PVD and Coating techniques or recipes; Utilize a systematic approach to resolve using data-driven analysis of coating and recipes for parts and then deciding best course of action to correct the problem at hand ability to develop understanding of complex and evolving processes as required to lead, implement, and sustain systems improvements maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition stays current on safety rules, and adherence to established operating specifications when performing production operations This list is not intended to be all-inclusive.
